Why it matters

What accreditation changes for your organisation

Accreditation is not a badge on a certificate. It decides whether the training counts where it matters.

It can be verified

Ask any provider for its QCTO accreditation number and the SAQA IDs in scope. Ours are published on this page.

It counts for skills reporting

Training from an accredited provider can be reported in your Workplace Skills Plan and used to support discretionary-grant applications.

It is mapped, not improvised

Our 31 masterclasses are derived from curriculum modules within the four qualifications, so short courses build towards recognised occupational competence.

It travels with the learner

Occupational certificates are nationally recognised, so the capability your people build stays credible beyond one employer.

Due diligence

How to check any QCTO-accredited AI training provider

Four questions worth asking before you sign a training order, of us or of anyone else.

1. What is your accreditation number?

A real provider answers immediately, with a number in the format 03-QCTO/SDP followed by digits.

2. Which qualifications are in scope?

Accreditation is granted per qualification. Ask for the SAQA IDs and check that the one you need is listed.

3. Until when is it valid?

Accreditation carries an end date. Ours run to January 2029 and February 2030.

4. How does a short course link to the qualification?

A credible provider can show which curriculum module each masterclass draws on.
