AI training in Zambia for executives and organisations

Executive briefings, board sessions and 31 QCTO-accredited masterclasses in artificial intelligence, data, cybersecurity, project management and 4IR — for Zambian organisations in copper and cobalt mining, agriculture and agri-processing, energy, financial services and the public sector. Delivered in person in Lusaka, Kitwe, Ndola, Solwezi and Livingstone, or live online to your teams anywhere in Zambia.

Why now in Zambia

The Copperbelt and North-Western Province are the centre of Africa's next mining expansion, and every major operator is bringing AI into fleet management, ore processing and safety. Zambian ICT and operations teams need the practical skills to run those systems rather than watch them being run from abroad.

  • Copperbelt and Solwezi operations are deploying AI for predictive maintenance, fleet dispatch and safety analytics; local supervisors and engineers need to understand and manage them
  • The Zambian Government's digital-transformation and Smart Zambia programmes are creating demand for data-literate public servants
  • Lusaka's banks, insurers and mobile-money operators are competing on data analytics and fraud detection
  • The Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act places new duties on organisations that most staff have never been trained on

Executive AI programmes in Zambia

Most AI training is built for technicians. IALE's executive programmes are built for the people accountable for the decision: CEOs, executive committees, boards, accounting officers and heads of department who must set AI direction, approve the investment, govern the risk and answer to shareholders, regulators and citizens for the outcome.

Formats for Zambia:

  • Board briefing — a half-day, closed session with Dr Allen Mutono on where AI is changing your sector, what the board must govern, and the questions to ask management
  • Executive committee masterclass — two days, in person, producing an AI readiness score, a sequenced roadmap and a governance structure for your organisation
  • Organisation-wide programme — executives first, then managers, then teams, delivered as a sequenced cohort programme over six to twelve months

Frequently asked

AI training in Zambia — questions we are asked

Do you deliver training in Zambia?

Yes. Masterclasses are delivered live online to teams across Zambia, and in-person workshops are run in Lusaka, on the Copperbelt or at site on request. IALE facilitators travel regularly across the SADC region.

Is IALE's accreditation recognised in Zambia?

IALE Institute is accredited by South Africa's QCTO (Accreditation No. 03-QCTO/SDP 180124083634). Each masterclass maps to modules of SAQA-registered occupational qualifications. Both countries participate in the SADC Qualifications Framework, and we support employers who wish to have training recognised through ZAQA or TEVETA.

Can a mining house book a customised cohort?

Yes. Most Zambian bookings are group cohorts of six to fifty participants, with cases drawn from the client's own operations. A costed proposal is issued within 48 hours.
