Executive AI programmes in South Africa & SADC

Most AI training is built for technicians. IALE's executive programmes are built for the people accountable for the decision: CEOs, executive committees, boards, accounting officers and heads of department who must set AI direction, approve the investment, govern the risk and answer to shareholders, regulators and citizens for the outcome.

Formats for South Africa & SADC:

  • Board briefing — a half-day, closed session with Dr Allen Mutono on where AI is changing your sector, what the board must govern, and the questions to ask management
  • Executive committee masterclass — two days, in person, producing an AI readiness score, a sequenced roadmap and a governance structure for your organisation
  • Organisation-wide programme — executives first, then managers, then teams, delivered as a sequenced cohort programme over six to twelve months

Frequently asked

Training across borders

Which SADC countries does IALE deliver training in?

All of them. Executive briefings and in-person workshops are run in South Africa (Johannesburg, Kimberley, Kuruman and at client sites) and on request in Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Lesotho and Eswatini; live-online cohorts reach every member state.

Can South African employers claim the training against their skills levy?

Yes. IALE Institute is a QCTO-accredited provider (Accreditation No. 03-QCTO/SDP 180124083634) and the masterclasses map to registered occupational qualifications, which makes them eligible for SETA discretionary-grant applications and Workplace Skills Plan reporting.

Do you work with boards and executive committees directly?

Yes. Board briefings and executive-committee masterclasses are IALE's most requested format for large organisations and public entities. They are led by Dr Allen Mutono and are closed sessions for the client.

Is the training available in Portuguese or French?

Delivery is in English. Portuguese-language materials for Mozambique and Angola, and interpreter-supported cohorts, are arranged for group bookings on request.
