AI training in Uganda for executives and organisations

Executive briefings, board sessions and 31 QCTO-accredited masterclasses in artificial intelligence, data, cybersecurity, project management and 4IR — for Ugandan organisations in financial services, telecommunications, oil and gas, agriculture and agri-processing, energy, security services and the public sector. Delivered in person in Kampala, Entebbe, Jinja, Mbarara and Gulu, or live online to your teams anywhere in Uganda.

Why now in Uganda

Uganda's oil-and-gas programme, a fast-growing financial sector and a government digital-transformation roadmap are arriving at the same time. The executives leading those organisations need enough command of AI, data and cybersecurity to set direction and evaluate what they are sold, without becoming technologists themselves.

  • First oil brings international operators with formal project, risk and data standards that Ugandan partners and regulators must match
  • Kampala's banks, telecoms and mobile-money operators face the same fraud, analytics and data-protection pressures as Nairobi and Johannesburg
  • The Data Protection and Privacy Act 2019 and the Computer Misuse Act create board-level accountability for AI and data use
  • Government's Digital Transformation Roadmap creates demand for AI-literate accounting officers and senior public servants

Executive AI programmes in Uganda

Most AI training is built for technicians. IALE's executive programmes are built for the people accountable for the decision: CEOs, executive committees, boards, accounting officers and heads of department who must set AI direction, approve the investment, govern the risk and answer to shareholders, regulators and citizens for the outcome.

Formats for Uganda:

  • Board briefing — a half-day, closed session with Dr Allen Mutono on where AI is changing your sector, what the board must govern, and the questions to ask management
  • Executive committee masterclass — two days, in person, producing an AI readiness score, a sequenced roadmap and a governance structure for your organisation
  • Organisation-wide programme — executives first, then managers, then teams, delivered as a sequenced cohort programme over six to twelve months
