AI training in East Africa for executives and organisations

East Africa's executives are leading organisations that are becoming data-driven faster than their governance, skills and procurement can follow. IALE Institute brings board briefings, executive-committee masterclasses and 31 QCTO-accredited programmes to Nairobi, Kampala, Dar es Salaam, Kigali and Addis Ababa — in person, led by Dr Allen Mutono, and live online to teams across the East African Community.

Executive AI programmes in East Africa

Most AI training is built for technicians. IALE's executive programmes are built for the people accountable for the decision: CEOs, executive committees, boards, accounting officers and heads of department who must set AI direction, approve the investment, govern the risk and answer to shareholders, regulators and citizens for the outcome.

Formats for East Africa:

  • Board briefing — a half-day, closed session with Dr Allen Mutono on where AI is changing your sector, what the board must govern, and the questions to ask management
  • Executive committee masterclass — two days, in person, producing an AI readiness score, a sequenced roadmap and a governance structure for your organisation
  • Organisation-wide programme — executives first, then managers, then teams, delivered as a sequenced cohort programme over six to twelve months

Frequently asked

Training across borders

Does IALE deliver in person in East Africa?

Yes. Executive briefings and masterclasses are delivered in person in Nairobi, Kampala, Dar es Salaam, Kigali and Addis Ababa, with Dr Allen Mutono and IALE facilitators travelling from Johannesburg. IALE has active partnerships in Uganda and Kenya.

Is a South African accreditation relevant to an East African organisation?

IALE Institute is accredited by South Africa's QCTO (Accreditation No. 03-QCTO/SDP 180124083634), the most developed occupational-qualifications framework on the continent, and each masterclass maps to SAQA-registered qualifications. Multinational and regional groups use it as a single capability standard across their African operations; where local recognition is required we support the national authority's process.

Can one programme cover our operations in several countries?

Yes. Regional groups headquartered in Nairobi, Kampala or Johannesburg run one executive programme and one cohort standard across all their countries, delivered in person at head office and live online to country teams.

How are engagements priced?

Quotations are issued in US dollars or South African rand, with local-currency invoicing on request. Executive and organisational proposals are costed within 48 hours.
