What does IALE Institute do?

IALE Institute combines three disciplines: AI and digital transformation consulting (strategy, custom AI systems, agents and on-premise AI), accredited AI and digital skills training, and research and evaluation. Is IALE Institute accredited?

Yes. IALE Institute is a QCTO-accredited Skills Development Provider (No. 03-QCTO/SDP 180124083634), with 48 learning pathways mapped to Quality Council for Trades and Occupations and South African Qualifications Authority digital and AI qualifications. IALE is also a member of the Claude Partner Network.

Where does IALE deliver training and consulting?

In person across all nine South African provinces from offices in Johannesburg (Sandton), Kimberley and Kuruman, and live online to organisations across SADC and East Africa, including Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ethiopia.

How do I book an AI masterclass?

Choose from the 31 masterclasses, then complete the enrolment form. Cohorts start on the second Tuesday of every month. Fees are quoted on request, and we reply with a quotation for individuals or teams.

Can SETA funding pay for IALE training?

Accredited IALE programmes can be included in your Workplace Skills Plan and in SETA discretionary grant applications, and they count towards the skills development element of your B-BBEE scorecard. See how to fund AI training through your SETA.

Does IALE build AI systems, or only train?

Both. IALE engineers custom AI systems, decision-support agents, document intelligence and private on-premise AI, then trains your staff to own them. Delivered work includes mobile-first reporting platforms, decision-support agents for certification and compliance, and resource-planning systems for the public sector.

Where can I get The AI Toolkit books and online course?

How much do the IALE books cost and how do I buy them?

The Agentic AI Toolkit is R360 and The AI Hustle is R400, both in South African Rand. You order them on the IALE Institute website and pay online through Payfast by card, Instant EFT, SnapScan, Zapper, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The AI Toolkit, the first edition, is sold out.

Do you deliver the books, and what does delivery cost?

Yes. Delivery anywhere in South Africa is a flat R75 per order, added once no matter how many books you buy. Collection is free from the IALE offices in Sandton (Johannesburg), Kimberley or Kuruman. The online course has nothing to ship, so no delivery charge applies.

How much is the Foundations of AI online course and what do I get?

The AI Skills for Work — Foundations of AI course is R950. It runs over ten modules across ten days at about thirty minutes a day, and the first two modules are free to try before you pay. Completing it earns the IALE Certificate of Practice with a formal Statement of Results. IALE Institute is a QCTO-accredited Skills Development Provider, No. 03-QCTO/SDP 180124083634.
